Introducing Our Newest Partner – Chris T. Young

San Jose, California – August, 2016 – Marc Parkinson, Managing Partner of Petrinovich Pugh & Company, LLP (PP&Co), is pleased to introduce Chris T. Young as a newly minted partner of the Firm.  “Chris began his accounting career with PP&Co as an intern, so we’ve been with him from the outset. Even early on, his enthusiasm, attention to detail, and authentic interest in helping clients served us well. We are proud to have helped shape him, and to have had him help shape the firm. He is an integral part of our success, and we look forward to more great things from him in the future.”

Chris joined the Firm in 2003.  He has extensive experience working with high net worth individuals and privately held companies. During his tenure at PP&Co, Chris has assisted clients with preparation of reviewed and audited financial statements, income tax returns, income tax planning and forecasting, and has performed interim controller services for a number of corporations, partnerships, and organizations. He currently co-chairs the Firm’s Audit Committee and is a founding member of the Firm’s Real Estate Practice Group. Chris is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA). In addition, he is an active member of the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) and American Advertising Federation of Silicon Valley (AAFSV).

Chris received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Puget Sound; whereupon, he returned to the Bay Area to pursue a Master of Science degree in Accounting at San Jose State University, and to obtain his CPA license. He was born in Palo Alto and lives on the Peninsula, solidifying his strong ties with the community and his interest in helping Bay Area businesses thrive. Chris’ Bay Area upbringing has led him, like so many other Silicon Valley natives, to an interest in technology and the start-up culture. Chris looks forward to continuing to assist Silicon Valley start-ups to create a solid financial foundation from which to grow and prosper.

Chris was drawn to attestation and compliance because it provides the unique opportunity to become intimately familiar with the inner workings of a client’s finances.
