 Petrinovich Pugh & Company named among the ‘100 Best Places to Work in the Bay Area' April 29, 2009 San Jose - On April 29, 2009 Petrinovich Pugh & Company was once again named among the ‘100 Best Places to Work in the Bay Area” by the San Francisco business Times, Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal and East Bay Business Times. For the second year in a row PP&Co made it into the top 20 of businesses with 20-50 employees. There was no small amount of competition when it came to contentment in the workplace. Utilizing a survey which contained over 30 probing questions that gauge the job satisfaction of its employees, Petrinovich Pugh & Company came in at number 19 this year. “When compared with hundreds of other Bay Area companies it’s very exciting to make it into the top for two straight years” said managing partner, Marc Parkinson. He added “we employ great people and focus on making our company a great place to work. Happy employees serve our clients better, and provide them with excellent services; it’s a win win situation!” Every year, thousands of employees are asked to answer a series of survey questions regarding their jobs. Over 500 businesses across from 12 different counties participated in the search for the best place to work in the Bay Area. The companies were categorized based on the size of their workforce: giant companies – 1,501+ employees; big companies – 501-1,500 employees; mid-sized companies – 101-500 employees; small companies – 51-100 employees; and small 25-50 employees. Companies were not allowed to enhance their scores with any marketing or promotional materials. This ranking is based solely on the satisfaction of its employees.
