 Petrinovich Pugh & Co. Hosts “Taste Of The State” Financial Forum November 14, 2008 SAN JOSE –- Petrinovich Pugh & Co, a leading auditing, tax advice, business consultation and estate and financial planning firm, hosted the “Taste of the State” Financial Forum October 30. The event was held at the La Rinconada Country Club in Los Gatos and featured well-known economist Dr. Christopher Thornberg as the keynote speaker presenting an economic forecast for 2009. Dr. Thornberg’s presentation focused on three imbalances that have led us to our current recession: the housing plunge, the credit crisis and too much consumer spending. In his forecast, Dr. Thornberg predicted a long and shallow recession – vs. a short, steep depression – with continued struggles for consumers and business to continue for some time.
