Donna Bumgarner takes on the role of Director for Petrinovich Pugh & Company

The
partners of Petrinovich Pugh & Company,
LLP take pleasure in announcing the promotion
of Donna Bumgarner to Director. “Donna's numerous
contributions to the firm have played an increasingly
important role in our success over the years.
In addition to her outstanding work for clients,
Donna's extensive philanthropic efforts set
an example for all of us. We are proud to have
Donna representing the firm as a Director,”
said Managing Partner Marc Parkinson.
Donna
graduated from the California Polytechnic State
University in San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor
of Science Degree in 1971. She entered the field
of public accounting after receiving an MBA
from Santa Clara University and joined Petrinovich
Pugh and Company, LLP in 1991. Donna earned
her CPA license in 1989 and a masters of taxation
in 1994. She plays an integral role on the Firm's
Tax, Education, and Fun Day Committees and also
serves as Secretary for the California Society
of CPAs Silicon Valley San Jose Chapter.
Some
of Donna's impressive philanthropic efforts
include serving on the American Cancer Society's
(ACS) Youth and Cancer Team Pediatric Cancer
Committee, the ACS' Daffodil Days program, and
the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer program.
Donna also volunteers for the Cal Society of
CPA's Financial Literacy Program where she speaks
to high school and junior college students about
the benefits of careers in accounting.
