LEd Davis wins award for inspiring The After-School All-Stars

The
After-School All-Stars Program for children
in San Jose Announced the 2007 winner of its
Beacon of Light Award for Inspiration is Ed
Davis, Partner at San Jose CPA firm Petrinovich
Pugh & Company, LLP. The Beacon of
Light Award for Inspiration is the highest honor
for contributions the After-School All-Stars
San Jose chapter bestows upon individuals.
"Ed
and the entire PP&Co team's contributions
to our organization have been amazing and this
award is truly deserving," said John Poch,
Executive Director of the San Jose After-School
All-Stars. "Thank you to all the members
of the PP&Co team for opening your office
and services in so many ways to benefit our
organization. Ed's work in the community is
a true reflection of your firm's commitment
to serve the community," said Poch.
The
mission of the After-School All-Stars (ASAS)
is to provide comprehensive out-of-school time
programs that keep children safe and help them
achieve in school and in life. The San Jose
Chapter of the After-School All-Stars; originally
called the Inner-City Games (ICG), was founded
in May of 1997 through the work of the San Jose
Sports Authority, the City of San Jose and the
Division of Parks, Recreation & Neighborhood
Services.
ASAS

the opportunity to reach their full potential.
